Rehabilitation paid for by the National Health Insurance Fund: what should you know?

• Territorial Health Insurance Funds (THCs) offer the possibility to benefit from paid rehabilitation in a sanatorium of your choice. Rehabilitation is prescribed by your family doctor or other doctor who looks after you.
• Rehabilitation medical treatment is based on your medical condition. You can choose the spa that suits you and your illness profile.
• Medical rehabilitation treatment is covered by the National Health Insurance Fund.

Registration

If your doctor has prescribed medical rehabilitation, you don’t need to worry about documentation. When you book a room at Mineral SPA Draugystė, you only need to present your ID. The staff member will see the documents filled in by your doctor in the electronic system.

Please note that a doctor’s referral for medical rehabilitation is valid for 2 months.
